Vintage Eyewear Design from Serge Kirchhofer: Industrial Chic circa 1970s

These bold eyeglass frames are pure vintage. From the early 1970s, they were styled from the vision of Austrian Udo Proksch, who used the name Serge Kirchhofer on his designs. The controversial Proksch designed many different types of sunglasses for the company of Wilhelm Anger in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Wilhelm Anger was responsible for the sunglasses production of brands like Carrera, Dunhill, Dior and Porsche Design. Among his notable contributions to fashion technical eyewear, Serge Kirchhofer designed the first ski goggles for Carrera. ♥
